A beautiful tree reaching heights of 30 to 50 feet. When this tree blooms in spring or early summer, foot-long clusters of fragrant white flowers resembling wisteria droop from its branches. A slow-growing tree, the American Yellowwood Tree grows about a foot each year.
Soil Type: Prefers well-drained, acid or alkaline soil, does best in full sun, but tolerates a bit of shade.
